MMORPG's are evil!!!

I just want to rant about how evil I think MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) are. They attract you to play the game by offering free trials of around 14 days or so. Then when youve started playing and you start to get hooked you get hit with monthly fees of like £18 a month!

This isnt the evil part, so far you could call all this good business sense. The evil part is the games themselves! You play so many 'quests' but to do higher level quests you need to get up levels! Most of these games run on an exponential level system where it is easier to go up levels when you are a low level but it takes really long to go up levels when you are at a high level! Now you dont have one skill that needs leveling up, there are many and each one requires you to do a different thing to get experience that to level up! Argh!

These games are so addictive that you honeslty end up playing for days straight just to get up by that one all important level! It really isnt healthy I know because Ive played one for 2-3 years. It took up all my free time. I started by playing the free version but after doing all the available 'quests' I ended up getting membership. It all started from there I was hooked and didnt stop till 2 years after!

Stay away from MMORPG's because they are evil! Unless you are disciplined and know to control the amount of time you spend playing unlike me

Oh god, MMORPG's are SOOO addictive it's not funny. I was addicted to FFXI Online 2 years ago and let me tell you, it sucks the life out of you
I spent hours at a time, sometimes getting yelled at to get off the computer.
In the end, I quit the game before I ended up without a real life.
...Not that I have a life...

Moral of this story....stay away from MMORPG's

Ok this is going out of MMORPG, but the best ever RPG game is FF7 and im still currently playing the game. Its such an addictive game. The graphics are not bad either. Im quite astonished at some of the cut scene graphics-the background buildings etc graphics are almost like ps2 level graphics. I think im going to love this game as i unfold the story deeper. Initially i thought, omg the graphics are soo lame, but once i made a start, i got use to it already. Also it doesnt have any of that terrible voice acting, like in ff10. ff10 had some seriously cheesy voice actors ( yuna and tidus laughing) lol . To be Honest though, its actually better without the voice acting unless they have professionals doing it.
