Gameboy advance forever?

How long will it be before the gameboy advance bites the dust and becomes another thing to collect dust? Its been out for a while now and there is still a large fan base for it but now that the ds can play gba games how long do you think the gba will last?

Ive just heard news of the new version of the Nintendo DSi. It wont have the GBA slot in it anymore! Nooooo GBA bye bye?

sometimes when im bored i pick up my GBA
I have downloaded a GBA emulator before.All i play is Sonic Advance 3.I loved how it was 2D and not like the other 3D Sonics failures(Like on the 360 and the PS3)
It is a real shame to see no GBA slot
