			<description>Before the PS3 section goes horribly off-topic, I'm moving all talk of old gaming heroes here.



To get started - my first video game was Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Master System, so naturally I've always preferred Sonic over Mario (even if they try too hard to make Sonic cool nowadays). 

BUT! My favourite gaming hero (sort of) of all time will always be Silver from Pokemon G/S/C
