Assassins Creed- Awesome!

Ive just recently bought Assassins creed for the PS3 and I have to say it seems to be the first half decent next generation game ive ever bought! I really enjoy the Prince of Peria style gameplay combined with next gen graphics along with an interesting story line. Could this game be a winner? I certainly think so

I read about the new 40GB version of the PS3 coming out and couldn't believe my eyes. No backward compatibility! Less Hard Disk space and no memory stick reader?! I guess this was all to lower the price of the console so that it could be seen as almost affordable for Christmas. I'm just glad that I got the 60GB version as I enjoy backwards compatibility and the ability to read of my memory sticks (non USB). Apparently Sony had asked gamers what they wanted from the PS3 and the results of this ...

Ive been wandering about some things in this game. They say there are no planes because the whole thing is one city but we all know its because its based on a fictional new york and they dont want us flying planes into the buildings. I WANT A PLANE! Also if it is just all one city how are they going to stop us from going round the whole thing right from the start, there better not be any lame ass road blocks.

The Playstation 3 has been out for a few months now but popularity for hasnt been what Sony were hoping for. Do you think that the Playstation 3 will bounce back evenually with time and more better games to allow sony the title of worlds best console manufacturer again? Are there any games planned for release that will make the Playstation 3 more desirable than the Wii and Xbox360? Have Sony put the final nail in the coffin for themselves after the Betamax video tape/minidisk/UMD disk failures ...

Sony have just annonced the playstation 3 dualshock 3 controller with rumble feature! I knew they would eventually release it only problem is that its being released in japan in November but we will get in in Europe in spring 2008!!! Grr! I knew it was a good idea to only buy one controller with my PS3.

Against my better judgement, my little brother pursuaded me to purchase a brand new shiny PS3.

I don't like the game it came with (Motorstorm) or any of the current line up of games.

But I have to admit, it has a certain charm to it

The OS is exactly the same as the PSP one. I never liked the User system on the 360, much less the PS3 and the controller seems cheaply made - so why do I think it looks the most impressive out of the 3 in my sitting room?

Does anyone know where I can get the Phoenix Wright games for the GBA apparantly its gone upto its fifth installment, I cant wait for them to be ported to the DS if they are ever ported at all! Also whats the name for the japanese versions again? Do they come with half decent english subtitles?

Why the hell did Namco Bandai only release Xenosaga Vol 2 in the UK? They didn't release either Vol 1 or Vol 3, so why Vol 2? Did they think people would buy it because of it's box art? Or did they think us brits are retarded and will just buy it for the sake of it?

I just want to rant about how evil I think MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) are. They attract you to play the game by offering free trials of around 14 days or so. Then when youve started playing and you start to get hooked you get hit with monthly fees of like �18 a month!

This isnt the evil part, so far you could call all this good business sense. The evil part is the games themselves! You play so many 'quests' but to do higher level quests you need to get up ...

I thought it was amazing when they brought out plasma displays that were like tablets compared to the normal televisions you got at the time. Then they started to bring out LCD display after but now Ive heard that companies are in a race to produce paper thin displays! Microsoft is readying the "Falcon", a 360 with smaller, less expensive and more reliable chips inside.

Personally, I don't really care, seeing as how Microsoft isn't the best in terms of customer service, but it is nice to see they are trying to remedy the unreliable nature of the 360.
